 OKSANA DYKA
   

Oksana Dyka was born in Zhytomyr region, Ukraine 16 June 1978. She graduated from the National Music Academy of Ukraine in 2004 where she studied with Mykola Kondratiuk and Maria Stefiuk. Since 2001 Oksana sings at the National Opera of Ukraine in Kyiv.

Oksana has won awards at several international singing competitions including Marseille Competition in 2003 in France and Lysenko Competition 2002 in Kyiv.

She has an extensive opera repertoire that includes parts such as Nedda (I Pagliacci), Leonora (il Trovatore), Maria (Mazeppa), Tatiana (Eugene Onegin), Lisa (Dame of Spades), and Tosca. Oksana is also acclaimed as a chamber and oratorical performer and tours in Ukraine and abroad with renowned orchestras and at international festivals, amongst her recent engagements were Britten’s War Requiem at Britten Festival Kyiv 2004 and concert for the inauguration of Victor Yuschenko as Ukrainian President in Kyiv in January 2005.
